Manage Host Profiles

The host profile is the guest-facing person or entity that will be shown in your guidebook and other communication with guests. This is separate from your RedCarpet account profile and company information.

When you start your RedCarpet account, one of the first steps you should take is to edit the default Host profile. You can also add additional hosts if needed.

Edit the default host profile

Tap the Host menu item in the top section of the sidebar. On the “Manage Hosts” screen you’ll see the default host that’s automatically created when you launch your account.

Tap the 3-dots icon to the right of the host name and select “Edit Host”. In the Edit Host form, Enter the following:

Host Name: This is the name guests will see.

Host Email: This will be in the host contact info shown to guests.

Host Phone: This will be in the host contact info shown to guests.

Host Image: This is the image guests will see. It can be a company logo if you prefer.

Guest Welcome Message: Write a message to introduce yourself to guests and welcome them. Insert variables into the message to automatically customize the message for each property and guest.

Add additional contact methods: Include any methods you want guests to use to get in touch with the host.

Add multiple hosts

On the Manage Hosts page, tap the “Add Host” button and set up a new host in the same way as you edited the default host.

When you have set up two or more hosts you’ll see a column for each host on the Manage Hosts page. Simply drag and drop properties between host coumns to assign properties to hosts.

Apply host to a guidebook

When you’re editing a guidebook in the Content Editor you can apply a host from the dropdown menu at the top of the page.
