How to provide guests access to their private guidebook.
Your guidebooks contain information personalized for each guest so the address for each guidebook must be unique. This page describes two methods you can use to give your guests access to their guidebook.
Method 1: Use a custom field code to include the guidebook URL in messages
For each new booking, RedCarpet sends a unique URL to your OwnerRez account. That URL is attached to a custom field defined specifically for each booking.
On the details page for each booking under the CUSTOM FIELDS tab you’ll find the URL in a custom field labeled BXRCGUIDEBOOK .
Insert the BXRCGUIDEBOOK field code into any message template that you send to guests.
When the guest receives the message and taps the link, their guidebook opens and they are logged in automatically.
Method 2: Copy the link and send manually to your guest
- Go to the Bookings page your RedCarpet account and find the specific guest.
- Click on the book icon in the row with the guest’s name
- Select Copy Guidebook Link
- Paste and send this link directly to the guest via email, text, or any preferred method.
- When the guest clicks the link, it will take them directly to their guidebook.
